For Sunny Isles Democratic club, political talk is the main dish
Voters who get together for a partisan monthly breakfast are continuing a storied political tradition.
Every month, about 100 residents of Sunny Isles Beach gather at a local Denny's to munch on bagels, sip coffee and bemoan the state of the country.
And every month they are joined by some of Northeast Miami-Dade's most powerful players: mayors, commissioners, state legislators, candidates -- a veritable who's who of local and state politics.
